The debut release from Stekpanna is called Standin´ Tall and contains 10 originals by Petter, Steve and Mads, "Smoke on the water" played as a moody jazz-ballad and a hip-hop-style version of "My funny Valentine".

The album was recorded 17-19 October in 1996 in Stockholm and was  released on the new british label "Flat Five Records".
